This album chronicles an Icelandic trip I took two summers ago with three close friends. Initially, I wanted to capture the dream-like beauty, the time suspension, the Natural, and the ---quiet--- we experienced there.

Shortly after that trip, life accelerated, bonds fractured, and our little group grew apart. The writing process transformed, becoming about documenting the last happy moment, saving as much as possible, returning.

It is rife with our voices: our wonder, our joy, our everyday - piecemeal constructions of partial narratives telling themes we did not realize then.

It seems I cannot help but to continually sonify memoirs and memories. Thank you to my friends for agreeing to be a part of this. And thank you - for listening.
